“Beautiful”, which was such a beautiful film, is being remade in four languages. The movie which was directed by VK Prakash and had Anoop Menon, Jayasurya and Meghna Raj in the main roles, is being remade in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.
Anoop Menon, who wrote the screenplay for “Beautiful” has confirmed this news and added that the remaking rights have been sold for one crore rupees. It is learned that VK Prakash himself will direct the Hindi remake and Anoop Menon will be acting in it.
However no decision has yet been taken about Meghnaraj, even though Meghna is intensely keen to do the same role which, in Malayalam, gave tremendous boost to her career. And she has made her intentions very clear.
Anoop, who appeared as Jayasurya’s help in the Malayalam version, will appear in Hindi as the character played by Tiny Tom in Malayalam. Others in important roles are Ranweer Shuri, Konkana Sen and Vinay Pathak.
