After “Kandahar”, Major Ravi and Mohanlal are combining again in “Karmayodha” and the shooting will commence after August 10.
The name was changed from its earlier title “The Chase”. Rajeev Pillai, who rose to fame after some spectacular batting in the Celebrity Cricket league, plays the part of a villainous police officer. A girl goes missing after she 
develops a romance which originated from a missed call. Police are called in to investigate and Mohanlal as the police officer is entrusted with the task of solving the case of the missing girl.
After the ordinary performance of “Kandahar”, Major Ravi has given rest to army stories and has turned to suspense with “KarmaYodha” which is an investigative thriller.
Three heroines join Mohanlal and Rajeev Pillai in “KarmaYodha”. The film will be shot in Kochi, Munnar, Mumbai and Nagercoil.
