Kareena is out of Sanjayleela Bansali’s “Ramleela” but that has not affected Kareena’s glamour or market at all.
She has been approached by Prakash Jha to don the role of India’s woman prime minister in the latest film being directed by him. Ajay Devgun will play alongside in the male lead role. Shooting will begin by the end of this year. Critics feel that her role in this film will be one of the most critical in her acting career.
Kareena has already started reading books on women prime ministers of the world, enough to collect a doctorate for her research, says reports from Bollywood. The role of the prime minister is one without a trace of glamour and acting talent alone will see Kareena through.
Famous women politicians were portrayed before by actresses such as Shabana Asmi (Mathru ki Bijli ka Mandola), Katrina Kaif (Raj Neethi), Raveena Tandon (Satta), and Suchithra Sen(Andhi).
